The International Journal of Geoscience and Environment (IJGE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Faculty of Geoscience and Environment, Hormuud University. IJGE publishes original, rigorous, and policy-relevant research in geology, climate change and environmental science, and petroleum engineering, with particular attention to scholarship relevant to Somalia and the wider Horn of Africa, alongside contributions of interest to a global academic readership.

All articles published in IJGE are freely available to read, download, and share immediately upon publication, at no cost to the reader. Authors retain copyright and publish under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, which permits reuse of published material provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source.
